Everyone is a little broken!

Starting with me!

Through all these years of my life, i have known people, made friends, made enemies, been close, been far, I have known people for a moment and for decades and I have realised that everyone is broken (in our own special ways!).

It's part of the human experience - no one is untouched or unbroken. Some may be more aware of their brokenness, while others remain ignorant to it. But it manifests in our souls, hearts, minds, bodies and spirits in different ways and maybe thats what it actually means to be human.

As Rumi so poignantly said, "the wound is the place where the light will enter you."

Our brokenness, our weaknesses, our vulnerabilities - these are the gateways through which we can find deeper self-awareness, growth, and transformation. It's in those cracks and crevices that the light has a chance to shine through.

Being broken isn't bad or wrong - it's simply the human condition. Acknowledging our brokenness, rather than pretending to be strong all the time, is an act of courage and authenticity. It allows us to be real, to connect more deeply with ourselves and others.

After all, it's in our shared brokenness that we find our common humanity. We're all just doing our best to navigate this messy, beautiful, painful, joyful experience called life. Embracing our brokenness, with all its rough edges and imperfections, is what makes us whole.

Don's shy away from your cracks and your brokenness, see it as an invitation to seek, grow, heal, and become more compassionate, both with ourselves and with one another. It's in the broken places that the light so often finds its way in.

From a friend

"She may have faced storms that tested her spirit, but her heart, so genuine, kind and loving, never lost its warmth.

With creativity that knows no bounds and a talent that shines like the brightest star, she’s the one who turns life's challenges into art. And when the right souls gather around her, all her worries simply fade, replaced by laughter and a joy that’s contagious.

She’s proof that even in the darkest moments, there’s always light waiting to break and penetrate through."
